November 27th - Dolphin Calf Stranding in Bluffton

A deceased bottlenose dolphin calf was reported to us on November 27th in Bluffton. This dolphin was found floating near a dock. Our HHI lead volunteer, Amber Kuehn, was able to quickly respond and retrieve the dolphin.

This young female was already in a moderate stage of decomposition. A necropsy will be conducted in the near future.
