Charleston Dolphin Monitoring Program

WHAT?

In 9 different locations within the Charleston area, volunteers are monitoring our local dolphin population through observational studies. Volunteers complete two 30-minute surveys where they collect total counts, behaviors, weather, and engagement data. This research is used to better understand these animals and ultimately, be able to better protect them.
