An Evening with Filipe DeAndrade & Regi Domingo

Location: The Salty Dog Cafe, Bohicket Marina, Seabrook

Time: 5-8pm

Happy hour with wildlife conservationists, film-makers, and photographers Filipe DeAndrade and Regi Domingo. Proceeds support LMMN. Tickets are $25/person and can be purchased here

Annual Dolphin Count

Location: Various Locations

Time: Anytime! 


Channel your inner scientist because during this week as we will all be partaking in an ongoing study of our local dolphin population! This year, we encourage everyone to get outside anytime, anywhere throughout the week to count dolphins! We ask that everyone count for a 30 minute period, submit data into the Dolphin Count App, take a 30 minute break, and then repeat! While you are out, take a photo of yourself or your group counting (post here). The best photo gets a prize!

Dolphin Week Art Show Fundraiser // Drinks for Dolphins:

Location: Palmetto Brewery

Time: 5-7:30pm

We want to bridge the gap between science and art through this art show fundraiser that highlights local marine mammals. Kids to professionals from all over the peninsula will be showcasing their marine mammal art at this one-night event. Professional art will be up for sale! A portion of art sales and beer sales will be donated back towards LMMN.

Barrier Island Ecotour Sail:

Location: Marina Market - 2669, 50 41st Ave C-6, Isle of Palms, SC

Time: 5-7:30pm

Set sail & explore Capers Island Preserve with Barrier Islands Ecotour group in the beautiful Isle of Palms with Lauren Rust as your guide! With social distancing practices, the boat will be running at half capacity. There are only 21 spots so book today!

Annual Dolphin Count

Location: All over the Charleston Peninsula! 

Time: 9-11am


Channel your inner scientist for this citizen science event. Together we will collect baseline data on our local Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. This data is then used to create distribution & abundance maps as well as help us have a better understanding of where these animals spend most of their time. Help us #ProtectWhatWeLove!
